My name is Jason Tyler McLean and I am a Winnipeg, Canada based author, speaker, and educator. I live with mental health challenges and I have made it my purpose to share my story to help empower others who are amid struggle with mental health issues, to influence in a positive way that through story telling and taking action that lives can transform, and improve the relationship with ourselves in hopes to establish connection with each other. My vision is to unite as many minds as possible with the purpose of disabling the stigma that casts a dark shadow over mental health and mental Illness, while providing insights, strategies and positive lived experiences as a road map that can act as a guide through the difficult times in life. I have had the privilege of speaking in front of thousands of people of all ages and have deeply impacted every audience positively and dynamically. I have had the honor of presenting my various mental health workshops in many schools, workplaces, conferences, and continue to expand that horizon. My social media posts have reached over 1,000,000 people worldwide and and growing.

I have now extended my diverse and influential mental health transformation strategies in the form of coaching and mentoring. With opportunities that can work for anyone willing to invite change into their lives. My insights, guidance, and lived experience pave the way for a mental health metamorphosis, creating purpose, connection, and overall improved quality of life.

I spend my time with my family and in nature as often as possible. Actively studying biology, neuroscience, and mental health related behavior therapy. Catching frogs, pollinator gardening, hiking, snowboarding and biking are a few of my favorite activities. The gym is a sanctuary where I push myself 6 times a week for 2 hours each workout. Clean and healthy eating attribute to my overall outstanding health both mentally and physically. I am currently working on two new books, one is a children’s book about mental health, and the other is the next chapter in my mental health journey. Stay tuned…
